Remove the wrapping and downstack the pallets to ensure the product does not heat up which causes spoilage. Make sure to have air flow on the onion sets.

| Use, Description, and Flavor | Oversized onion sets are best used for growing green and spring onions. They are not a good option for growing large onions because they tend to bolt. They have a great ability to produce large green onions and mature faster than the set size. You can plant oversized onion sets deeper if you want to get a longer shank. The variety will be one selected by Dutch Valley Growers. For its use, variety is less important when using oversized onion sets. Oversized yellow onion sets will have a strong flavor. |
